High School and Collegiate Schola
The Schola is open to all high school and college-aged singers and is comprised mainly of Treble Choir alums who wish to continue to sing in a parish choir. The Schola sings for our Christmas and Holy Week liturgies, as well as monthly on Saturday evenings at 4:30 pm, with social events often following Mass.
Treble Choir
The Treble Choir is open to students in grades 4-8 who attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy as well as other local public and private schools. The choir rehearses on Wednesday afternoons (3:30-4:45pm) and sings for parish liturgies every three weeks. During rehearsals, the choristers learn not only the liturgical repertoire, but also music theory and vocal technique. Our Treble Choir holds membership in the American Federation Pueri Cantores and participates in local, national, and international choral festivals. A modest fee is requested for participation in the season, covering the costs of binders, choral music, and festival registrations.

Junior Choir
The Junior Choir is open to students in grades 1-3 who attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy as well as other local public and private schools and sings for Masses once a month. The majority of the Wednesday rehearsal time (3:00-3:30pm) is spent learning to produce a healthy choral tone, learning how to read notes and rhythms, and experiencing the joy of making music. The Juniors sing for Masses four or five times per year. A modest annual fee is requested for the participation in the season.
