Celebrating the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church not only involves the wedding ceremony but a lifelong commitment to living out the vows in accordance with Catholic teachings. Marriage is a visible sign of God’s grace, and we are delighted you have chosen Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church to celebrate this sacred and solemn covenant.
There is much to be done before your wedding day! The information below will help you understand the requirements and expectations of couples before their wedding. Weddings at Our Lady of Mount Carmel should be booked at least one year in advance. The Sacrament of Marriage is not celebrated during Lent or Advent.
